Maryhill Burgh Halls is delighted to be taking part in Glasgow's Doors Open Days again this year!
On Saturday 21st September the Main Hall and foyer areas will be open all day from 10-6.
Additionally, we will be running guided tours of the entire building for free at 11am,1pm and 3pm. No booking required - just turn up!
On the Saturday at Midday, we also have a performance by our Songs of the Trades Children's Choir, with pupils from St Charles and Caldercuilt Primary coming together to perform songs relating to the historic stained glass windows in both English and Gaelic, led by local artist Maeve Mackinnon.
Also on the Saturday, at 4pm there is a guided walk of Historic Maryhill, lasting around 2 hours (or rather shorter if the weather is bad!). Places for this can be booked online for free here:

On Sunday 22nd September, the Main Hall and foyer area will be open from10-5, with free guided tours at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. No booking required - just turn up!
We're delighted that visitors will also be able to enjoy and experience the delight and passion of Argentine Tango. Experienced teachers and performers Facundo Menendez from Buenos Aires, currently teaching in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and Milly Wang, currently based in Stockholm, will perform in the Hall at 2pm and 4pm - you can even have some elementary tuition after the class if you are up for it and also find out about where to learn and dance tango in Glasgow!
