Puppet Animation Festival at Maryhill Burgh Halls
25th and 26th March and 2nd April

The Puppet Animation Festival is the UK’s largest performing arts event for children and families and includes puppet-making and stop-motion animation workshops, puppet theatre and animated films. Join us to celebrate this year’s festival with family friendly finger puppet making workshops and screenings of Disney Pixar favourites in the beautiful surroundings of our main hall.  

Saturday 25th March, 1pm - 4pm (film starts at 2pm) - Disney Pixar's Brave
Sunday 26th March 11am - 1.30pm (film starts at 11.30am) -  Disney Pixar's Inside Out
Sunday 2nd April 12.30pm - 3.30pm (film starts at 1pm) - Disney Pixar's Frozen

The finger puppet making workshops will take place before and after the film screenings. 

All the films are classified as a PG by the BBFC. 

Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult over the age of 16 years.

General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children.
