exhbition: Loving Earth project

caring for a world we love

november 2021

  • How does the climate crisis threaten places, people and other things you love?

  • What action is needed to reduce the risk of harm?

  • How are you helping to make this happen?

The Loving Earth project helps people engage with these questions creatively, without being overwhelmed.

It also highlights what is at stake, and illustrates actions that people around the world are taking, to reduce the risk of harm, both through personal decisions to change their habits or lifestyles and though working for wider change.

Would you like to represent what you love or what you are doing as a textile panel to join our international collection? We plan to take it to Scotland for COP26 this autumn and on tour after that.

We all need to address these challenging questions, if we are to care for what we love.

Deep down, we know that ‘business as usual’ is no longer an option. Action is needed both at persona level and through structural changes nationally and internationally. It can be hard to know what to do, but whatever our starting point, taking action is important.
